5 lb boneless/skinless chicken breast or thighs
8 cups quick oatmeal
1 large can french cut green beans
5-6 large sweet potatoes
1/2 large can pure pumpkin
2 cups fresh cranberries, blended
1/2 cup flax seed (health food store or baking isle of Walmart)
1/2 cup black chia seed (health food store)
~cook chicken in boiling water until done then shred.
~cut sweet potatoes in half and boil till done. let cool completely before handling.
~mean while in large container make all oatmeal, layer pumpkin, cranberries, green beans.
~after sweet potatoes are done, peel and mash. spread over oatmeal mixture.
~let shredded chicken cool and put over rest of ingredients,
~ mix well by hand.
~ can be portioned out into small batches and frozen frozen for up to 8 months.
Other Add Ins:
liver (1-8 ratio with chicken)
mackerel
salmon
blueberries
apple sauce (unsweetened)
